Onboarding the Algebra I curriculum will be professional development for middle school teachers of mathematics and Algebra I teachers to help the students be prepared and ready for Algebra I when they get to or in high school. The PD will target increasing pedagogical knowledge of teachers in the area increasing their conceptual understanding and preparation for Algebra I.
The team will develop professional training for middle school mathematics and Algebra I teachers in order for their students to be vastly prepared and highly equipped to take Algebra I in high school.
