Bridge Courses are supported by the Educator and Leadership Programs in the CSU Office of the Chancellor, enabling campuses to partner with local K-12 school districts, community colleges and non-profit agencies to provide professional development for high school teachers. These courses aims to ensure college-level math readiness among high school seniors and will support the success of the CSU's Graduation Initiative 2025.
Campus faculty from these projects will work closely with high school teachers, counselors and administrators to prepare 12th graders for placement into college-level math. CSU campuses will use the funds to provide professional development to their collaborative high school partners, ensuring teachers and principals have deep subject-matter knowledge and leadership skills in developing and implementing an effective 12th grade experience.
